Hey guys I was tentative on this, but I’m pushing it out there. This is the full-as-it-gets Original Soundtrack to the discontinued sequel to Ragnarok Online, Ragnarok Online 2: Gate of the World.
Gate of the World was eventually discontinued, and quite a lot of Kanno’s work was left unused. It’s quite sad, as rumors say she had quite a falling out with Gravity over this.
In any case Details as follows:
Ragnorok Online 2: Gate of the world Original Sound Track

I downloaded it from Mega and had no issues with 7-zip. Re-download, and if you have the same issue, update 7-zip.

Hey thank you, updating my 7-zip worked. One more question after having listened to it: How did these come about?
Boss Battle 320-CBR starts on the same audio sample as the V0’s from the thread on Warp Portal (both 48kHz).
I did an audio inversion test in Audacity, and the 320-CBR from this RAR is better quality than Warp Portal’s V0’s.
I assume this information would be very similar across most or all tracks, too – not just for Boss Battle.
Also: my friend ripped OGGs from “the game.” Boss Battle starts on a different sample! It sounds bad vs. V0/CBR.
Basically, I’m confused as to the source of the 320 from the RAR—which seems the same as the V0 from Warp Portal, but *not* the same as the “original OGG files” from “the game.” Are there multiple versions of “the game” out there? I’m so curious!

https://bit.ly/2VPBPXO This is what said friend took the OGGs from. Maybe there are different versions of the game out there, and one with the highest quality?

They’re very simply upscaled/un-compressed. I used the Original Warp Portal Forums Post for the raw MP3s, then heavily edited them in MediaMonkey.
I re-encoded them using FormatFactory for the first pass (I’ll likely be using foobar2000 for later conversions), and set them to 320kbps for the convert.
Also through tagging them there we several self-choices and fixes Most notably track 48 – “Volker Stanwood” which was mistyped as “Volker Standwood” the former being an in-game NPC’s name, and that BGM would play as you entered his area (he’s the Prontera Castle Library NPC), So I knew that was misspelled.
Actually track 19 – “Red Wolf” is STILL 160 and I SWORE I fixed that… Sigh, time to reupload… grumble

Thanks for sharing.
Do you think there’s any chance you may upload a lossless flac version with
a software like Exact Audio Copy?
Thanks!

That’s impossible, as these are game-rip transcodes. And I don’t own the CDs.
